Accept the Uncertainty.

I started a new job this week. I love it. The people, the work, the atmosphere. Life outside of work, however, has been rough. Due to the nature of my job, I don’t know where I will be relocating to and so currently I’m living at my childhood home and feel like it is making me go insane. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my parents and am so grateful for their hospitality but after not living home since I was 18, living with my parents IN THE SUBURBS WITHOUT A CAR….well, I am going stir-crazy with the lack of control, and independence. Anyway, as challenging as this situation is, I am being forced to face the issues that I still need to work on, like control issues and learning how to compromise my wants. It’s been a struggle, but everything happens for a reason and now I’m praying that those reasons start presenting themselves…

Anyway, regardless of my quarter life crisis (living at home will do that to you), I did have a great weekend. Here are some of the highlights:

Mondays. So good.

Mondays. So good.

MOVIE: CHEF. See it. It is now my favorite film of 2014.

FOOD; Raw Beet and Almond Burger with Broccoli Sprouts. YUM!

EVENT: Manicures and Pedicures with Mom. The Best.

Have you lived at home since you were a teenage? How was the experience for you?

MIMM Love,

Katie, you rock.
